Yes, the Rubicon Trail Foundation Cantina for the 'Con is happening Labor Day Weekend!!! The location is the same as last year, the Loon Lake spillway and the dates are Saturday August 30th and Sunday August 31st. Hours are from 10-5 on Saturday and 10-4 on Sunday with the raffle being held at 4:00pm on Sunday.

Cantina 2008 is shaping up to be bigger and better! Many vendors are stepping up and donating some exciting raffle prizes. Once lucky winner will receive a Gift Certificate donated by Jeepers Jamboree for trip on next years Jamboree and another will walk away with a new Winch donated by JeepCamping.com in Placerville. A complete list of prizes and vendor's will be posted shortly.

Our guests from previous years will notice one big change, this year's Cantina is a group effort of many clubs coming together to support the Rubicon Trail. We'll all be working side by side to raise money, educate and increase the public's awareness of the issues that face the Rubicon and other trails in El Dorado county. I'd like to recognize some of the Clubs that are working hard to make Cantina 2008 a success:

These Clubs are getting raffle prizes, pledging workers for the event, passing out & posting fliers, etc. I told you this was going to be a group effort

Raffle tickets and prizes.
We would love to see you there, but if you can't make it it's okay. We'll still take your money. You can still buy tickets! I can give you 5,000 reasons why you should.

Our anonymous donor from last year has again offered to match every dollar spent on "online" raffle ticket sales up to $5000!!!!

What does this mean? For every dollar you spend in "online" raffle tickets, the anonymous donor will match it dollar for dollar. Our goal is to sell $5,000 in "online" raffle tickets. But we need you're help!

FAQ:

I don't live in the area can I still win?
YES, you can. We don't care where you live, we just want your support. So if you win a prize we will send it to you. We do ask that you pay for shipping if it's a large item.


Do I have to be at the event to win?
NO, you don't. We understand that you want to help us support the trail and might not be able to make it for what ever reason. (Even though you're missing out on great tacos.)

How much are tickets?
Raffle ticket prices are:
1 for $1
7 for $5
15 for $10
32 for $20
85 for $50
200 for $100

How do I purchase tickets??
Unfortunately, this year we are not able to accept paypal donations for raffle tickets. We will gladly accept your check or money order made out to the Rubicon Trail Foundation (RTF).
