A few have asked if there is a hardtop included with this Scout. The answer is NO but I'm sure I can come up with one for it.
Would also like to add that I have done a ton of work to this rig recently with the most recent repairs of pulling out the engine, installed new freeze plugs, front and rear main seals, and exhaust manifold gaskets. It runs excellent!

Jeff Hi...
How bad is the rust in this rig? From the pictures it looks like it is everywhere. Is it as bad as the pictures show? Structual? Looks like the rig is mechanically spot on but needs some cutting and patching I was just wondering how bad it actually is and how many area's have rot that I cannot see in the pictures. I am looking for a 74/75 scout that has very little rust or that has been repaired. My bodywork skills are more towards the butcher end of the scale so with that said I need to find a Scout thats got good floors and rockers because these area's are the hardest to repair without a major tear down. I do not plan on 4 wheeling this vehicle anymore than fire trails so I just want something fun to drive now and then that looks good and runs good. |

The Scout is solid but does have rust in the normal places as seen in the pics. There were issues with the floor but I corrected those with patchs. The floor mounts are solid as well as the rockers. But yes it does have rust in the four corners around the door posts and the quarter panels have the normal rust but the rest of the body is quite solid. I would not consider this Scout a rust bucket by any means.
This Scout is fun and easy to drive. Fires right up on the coldest of mornings and doesn't hesitate one bit when driving off. Feel free to call and I'll be glad to answer any other questions about this Scout.

I purchased this beautiful Scout from Jeff back in April. Since then I have ran into some financial problems that I need to get out of. Which means I have to sell this great machine. As you know Jeff put some new things into this vehicle from the old list that is still on here. I have painted the inside with a generic spray in bedliner, re-taped the roll bar with black tape, and painted over the bottom mint green color with black. It has been parked in my garage the whole time and driven here and there on the weekends. I am asking what I paid for it which was $4,000. This is a great rig that runs like a champ and looks good too.
