EDIT: With more thought into this. You should go to HH and run the Bitch trail. If you can run that and feel comfortable, then I think you are ready. If not then you need to run it when you've got a couple days to do it.

If you want to hook up one weekend down in HH, let me know and we'll work something out.
Sounds good just gotta get my rigs back on the road

Hey guys, was just wanting to check in and see if you wanted help on a good local run still for the ralley... Im all for showing you some trails before the event! I still say we should all do a run to LaPorte, then back roads to Downieville thru Holland Flat and Poker Flat, its a good Loop... Id say half day run if you get a good start.

Reservations made with Lake Francis Resort and registration mailed to Mike yesterday. I already have the vacation time scheduled.

Looks like we are going to be there this year. Can't wait.

Keeping an eye on MM is my job at the Binder Bee. I will leave it up to the IHSFR staff to keep him corraled. I plan on just enjoying the show. I could possibly be talked into helping with Sunday breakfast.......................

Looking forward to it,

Lyle

I am going to try and make it for my first time this year...maybe... the 800 will be done but we'll see if I can afford driveshafts between now and then Any one have spare CV flanges for a D300? Maybe a 1350 yoke for a D44?
On a side note will anyone be going to the Nor. Cal. homebrew festival, also at lake francis on Sept. 18-19? Our homebrew club here goes every year. Ahh beer, scouts and a nice lake
I saw that you are getting a headcount for Fordyce, is there a latest time to get in on this?

Not sure how early the guys are leaving Cisco Grove Friday morning. That’s up to them. Most will sleep in the campground Thursday night.
From Cisco Grove to Lake Francis is roughly 60 miles. I’ve heard it could take 2+ hours towing your Scout.

There is a fire very near the site of the Rallye.

From the KCRA website: Ranches on the south end of Dobbins were evacuated, and horses were loaded into trailers as the blaze approached. The Lake Francis RV Resort, where summer campers were staying, was also cleared. It's unknown how many people have been evacuated from the area.

Full story here

More here.
