Great news Tren, that will help out alotta folks that encounter this issue!
I received some pictures yesterday from a guy who had a FAR WORSE plumbing maze on his 4 banger S80...had TWO faucet bibs that looked like they were connected at some point with a garden hose! I figger that one musta been used at some time as a "water heater", maybe for a camp shower??? It was REAL nasty! The pics were from a real crappy cellcam and I had a hard time figgerin' out what to tell him. But no doubt he saw this thread and knew he was in trouble! Parts like that water neck and the thermostat housings are what we all need to make sure DON'T end up in the meltdown crucible in china! Those are crucial to doing stuff like we do, same as for the water pump housings for both 4 bangers and SV. Just to add to the "theme" for this thread, here's a shot of yet one more water neck that would work for some applications, but NEVER use a "fitzall" flex upper hose. Just be creative in cutting down a molded hose from something else. This one was the most common used on fullsize rig SV motor apps, near identical to the neck used on 152/196 with the common thermostat housing (that's why there are two sets of mounting ears), but those had a smaller neck diameter and the center-to-center of the mounting holes is reduced also.
