Yeah, we're gunna miss Friday, but we'll join in the grubfest Satidy. That would be the Shorty BBQ feed, right? Or is there a club potluck instead? I wuz pushin' for a longer layover so that we could do some wheelin' and then layover at The U Sunday night on our way home, but had to take what I could get and be damn happy with it, which I am. Sailor Jerry sez I shud still tow Hooty up behind Big Red. He sez the boys cud head home in Red on Sunday and I could wheel Hooty and then ride him home, but Jerry never has been one to think about the potential repercussions of such wild ideas.
Yep, I know all about them short busses. You don't grow up in Daze Crick, Orygun without gittin' tuh spend some quality time either ridin' one of 'em or chasin' after some purdy little SB rider in pigtails. I ain't sayin' which cateegoree I belong to. Now dagnabit Jerry! That's too much information for these readers.

Anyone wanting any parts brought up to the show need to make your order now as we will not be bringing up a lot of extra inventory.

The Binder Bee committee folks did a walkthrough at the Powerland facility yesterday and all is good to go!
Two changes to the show grounds layout we posted earlier...Bee registration will now be right at the main entrance to the grounds as you come down the entrance road. The traffic pattern is no longer diverted because of various construction projects. Registration will be the first stop for participants for check-in. Other show visitors and the general public should park in the HUGE parking area just outside the fence and walk through the main entrance...and again...the Bee is providing FREE admission to the Powerland facility for our event! Once you have received your registration packet, you may proceed to the campground and your reserved space, then return to the Powerland office and settle up with the Powerland staff. If you are not camping, then just go find your spot on the Show and Shine line and settle in! Registration opens at 8am on Friday morning....and again on Saturday. There will be NO registration on Sunday. We are also moving the "small engine" display area away from the Blacksmith Shop. We'll have an enclosed area under the trees adjacent to the windmill and the light plant so that the engines may be operated if desired. If you are planning to run your engine, don't forget to have a fire extinguisher beside it! |

I'm bringing up a surprise for the kids. Only clue I'll give is that there's candy involved, a stick and a tractor.

We are planning to attend and hope to be driving our T-all.
I do ask forgiveness in advance for the ride our little girl has. She was given a J**p stroller and she just loves it! Last edited by Michael Mayben; 07-08-2009 at 08:40 PM.. |
