Re: 1979 Scout II -- Colorado
Project creep/trickledown Dan! But it's VERY good therapy!
The FAMILY always is FIRST, projects are just that...fun stuff to do and NOT life itself! Once they become NOT fun, then they need to go on the back burner UNTIL you need MORE therapy!
And with tha new kiddo, I know you are thinking you will NEVER have any manFUN again for awhile...but in time you will (about 6 months away)! All my kids learned to wheel inna Land Rover Series IIA (daughter came home from the horspital in it!) and FROZE in it in the winter...but they lived to wheel/git stuck, the rougher the better! And goin' ta town for snowcones with the lid off in the summer was a real high point in their growin' years!
Remember...these rigs are growing exponentially in value as more and more posers and yuppies find out about 'em, won't be long before they'll be tradin' in the same dollar class as early Bronco and that will take most of us out of the game (except Jeff and the bros'!!!). If ya simply parked it "correctly" outta the weather for a couplea years at this point, all your investment up to this point will have payback. But then, we don't do projects for financial gain...we do 'em for THERAPY!
