A custom center console was designed and mocked up. Started with a regular old box.



And ended up with this design. Some adjustments are going to be made but ultimately this is how it will be shaped. Plan is to build a frame for the console with wood sides. It will then be covered with the matching seat material. It will look real trick when its done. The console is going to have a built in ice chest and a dry storage area.




As we make design changes we have been using the mock-up center console to see how it will look. The Heat/Air controller is going to be mounted in the center console along with the door lock and power window switchs.



Some stereo equipment arrived.



Firewall wire loom covers were installed.







Power door lock actuators were installed in the doors.
